This section is not a complete detail of
what this game is fully about, but is more of a quick overview
of what Bid for Power 2 is or will be. More detailed information
can be found on the design section

Bid
For Power 2 Legions
This game is sort of a sequel to the original Bid For Power, the
game takes place on a semi fantasy world, where warriors of many
kind exist, Legions have formed around the planet and the differences
between societies has springed a new era of war.

Standalone game
As of now
the game is stand alone game, it is not or will not be a modification
of some sort we do have an engine that will be used, the engine
is very powerful and will be provided by Unoverse for the BFP2
team to develop under.
Technology
Unoverse has teamed up
with Smart
Bomb Interactive to bring you some cutting edge technology
wich will enhance the quality of the games unoverse provides for
you. This Engine has been under development for quite sometime
and we feel that it will help us provide you a very exciting game.
We are also hoping that this engine if allowed so, could reach
out to people that are new in the game industry who would love
to one day either work or participate on the game industry.
Gameplay
Melee and Range combat are the essentials of the game, Ki is
an additive effect to the combat system. Avatar mode also upgrades
and enhances different areas of the warriors abilities. A variety
of items are also helpful for you or your team during battles,
running as a team has more positive effects on team multiplayer
when going into battle.
The game is heavily concentrated on team mutiplayer, regular
solo multiplayer will also be available, but we are also exploring
the possibilities on having more then just 2 teams in game at
the same time.
RPG Elements
The player will be able to enhance his abilities and moves for
his warrior through experience, this will open up upgrades and
enhancements to the warrior such as avatar,weapons, etc.
Mechanics
Melee and Range
Melee and Range are the primary weapons, warriors have a variety
of weapons and different styles of fighting. The damage system
will be the same for all melee or range weapons, but the fighting
style of characters creates different scenarios of battles.
Some of the weapons could either be swords, staffs, axes, blades
of all kind, hand combat, arrows, energy blasts, etc.
KI (inner energy)
Ki also plays a big factor on the weapon system, the characters
have the ability to combine their melee or range weapons with
Ki to cause more damage to opponents.
Avatar
Enhances different areas of the warriors abilties (range,
melee, etc), some characters may physically transform into stronger
beings
Movement
/ Controls
We will keep this section a surprise, and we hope that
by the time we announce this, the controller will be something
really fun to play with, but to give an idea, it is a 3rd person
camera, and an upgrade system for this area is also taken place.
Art Style
/ Worlds
We are hoping to try to make a new style of art ( aren't
we all :) ), a litle over the top style, a litle bit of anime
and exaggerated features,a little bit of fantasy a since of
something epic, we are still in process on this area, but we
are hoping to apply this formula through out the whole game,
this includes animation, special effects, weapons, worlds, items,
gameplay, etc.
The Worlds are open and need to be that way for battle reasons,
there will be indoor levels but may be a lil wider then your
typical 1st person shooter indoor.
Contests - Community Involvement
We are hoping to give opportunities to anybodty to
participate on the development of this project, there will be
contests held as the project develops for different areas of
the game,character design, Conceptual work, gameplay ideas,

We
feel that developing a game with community feedback as we develop
the game will enhance the quality of the game, and will also
give more information about the game gamers will be playing,
so please try to participate this will only make the game better
=).
Im pretty sure that this section will grow as time goes by but
as of now we hope that this gives you a better understanding
of the bfp2 project =).
